Today’s guest is Dr. Lucky Sekhon, a double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and OB/GYN, and the author of The Lucky Egg, a comprehensive guide to understanding your fertility without the fearmongering.​

She waited to have kids while building her career, and at 34 she went through IVF to freeze embryos and preserve her options. So she really understands both the science and the emotional side of these decisions.

In this episode, we’re breaking down what women actually need to know about their fertility, whether you’re trying to conceive, currently pregnant (like me!), thinking about freezing your eggs, or still very much on the fence about having kids.

As someone with PCOS, who went through fertility treatments to have my first child and then was told I was infertile in my 40s only to end up with a surprise pregnancy - I really appreciated this convo.

We need more facts, less fear around the topic of fertility and infertility.
